India officially bans Mobile Legends, what is the reason? It can be said that India and China are currently waging a cold war. Many Indians are calling for boycotting Chinese applications and it seems that the Indian government has pursued that aspiration.
Rumors have circulated on social media claiming that the IT Ministry has issued an order to ban Mobile Legends along with other apps such as TikTok. Many gamers will be surprised to find Clash of Kings and Mobile Legends banned.
India has decided to remove 59 Chinese apps from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Apart from Mobile Legends and Clash of Kings, there are applications such as UC Browser, Bigo Live, and Weibo. For a complete list of applications banned by the Indian government, spinners can see below.

“On this basis and after receiving recent credible input that the Application threatens India’s sovereignty and integrity, the Government of India has decided to prohibit the use of certain Apps, which are used in mobile and non-mobile Internet-capable devices. This measure will protect the interests of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a targeted step to ensure the security and sovereignty of India’s cyberspace, ”explained India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology (MEITY).
Uniquely, there are 2 games which are also popular games in India whose developers are from China, namely Garena Free Fire and PUBG Mobile. Both of these games apparently managed to escape the ban imposed by the Indian government.
