GridGames.id – The Government of Indonesia’s attention to the e-sports industry deserves thumbs up.
After holding the 2021 President’s Cup e-sports tournament yesterday, now a number of pro e-sports players have received special awards.
The award was given at the 2021 National Sports Day (Haornas) celebration on Sunday (8/9/2019) night.

3 e-sports players: Rizky Faidan, Lucky Maarif, and Rio Dwi Septian are considered as outstanding sports athletes.
All three were awarded for their role in the PES League World Finals 2021.
Not kidding, the three players received awards directly from the Minister of Youth and Sports, Imam Nahrawi.
All three are considered to make Indonesia proud in the international arena.
In fact, the youngest player, Rizky Faidan, was flown directly to Banjarmasin to attend the celebration and receive an award in person.
As a reminder, the three players are members of Team WANI who are included in the Co-Op PES League World Finals 2021 category.
The WANI team itself made it to the final round and became the second winner.

Meanwhile, the wonderkid, Rizky Faidan, appeared in the 1 vs 1 category.

Rizky even advanced to the semifinals before being defeated by two-time world champion, Ettore Giannuzi.
The awarding of this award also means a lot for the e-sports industry, one of which is the great trust from the public in the development of e-sports in Indonesia.
