As we know, the PlayStation 5 is capable of supporting 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and 2160p resolutions.
The PlayStation 5 can also display 2160p or 4K UHD resolution when connected to a 4K display.

However, recently an interesting fact has been revealed by Sony.
As it turns out, the PlayStation 5 is compatible with 8K displays and is capable of displaying 8K resolution.
This was revealed through the official PlayStation Blog website.
PS5 is compatible with 8K displays at launch, and will be able to output resolutions up to 8K
Sony said that support for 8K resolution will only be available after a system software update at a later date.
This means that when it is released later, the PS5 will not immediately provide this support.

However, what needs to be noted is whether 8K support is native.
Or just use a technique like checkerboarding in order to save bandwidth.
