Some time later, James got an offer to become the coach of RRQ.

RRQ powerfully defeated a team from Singapore, RSG with a landslide score of 3-0.

Unlike Season 5, in Season 6 RRQ appeared to stumble in the group stage.
They barely even made it to the playoffs and fell into the abyss of misery.

However, thanks to a good strategy mix, RRQ successfully brought home the MPL ID Season 6 trophy after defeating Alter Ego 3-2 in the final match.
This also set a new record for RRQ as the first team to win the MPL ID back-to-back.
Unfortunately, James and RRQ’s high hopes to be able to gain positive results in the M2 World Championship tournament, vanished.
RRQ was sent home by the Filipino team and M2 champion, Bren Esports in the playoffs.
