GridGames.ID – Sports agency from Singapore, Reddentes Sports, announced a Mobile Legends tournament titled Southeast Asia Clash of Champions (SEACOC).

This tournament will take place on 18-19 May 2021 at IMDA’s SG: Digital Wonderland at Suntec City Convention Center (Halls 404-406), Singapore, with a total prize pool of USD 11 thousand or equivalent to 157 million rupiah, sponsored by Infinitus.

In this tournament, the six best teams representing Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore will compete against each other.

SEACOC will compete against top Southeast Asian teams, such as PSG.RRQ and Team Flash from Indonesia, Geek Fam from Malaysia, Cignal Ultra from the Philippines and Burma Ghouls from Myanmar to the tournament next weekend.

“These are all the best teams in the world and will be a good preview for eSports at the SEA Games in the Philippines. There will be a lot of action and we urge fans to come over next weekend,” said Yip Renkai, Managing Partner of Reddentes Sports.

This tournament will also be a stage for the above teams to pass the selection to the next SEA Games in the Philippines.

“If you look at the big teams in Indonesia, they train around 8 hours a day whereas we train 2 hours a day. It will be difficult but we will definitely try our best and find time to train and make Singapore proud,” said Robert “OhDeerBambi “Boon as Captain of EVOS SG.

Not only the Mobile Legends tournament, for two days, SEACOC will also present a discussion panel about eSports and the opportunities in the industry that are currently developing.

Dr. Haresh from the National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI), Terence Ting from Team Flash, Allan Norton from Informatics will fill the discussion panel which will be hosted by the Singapore Cybersports and Gaming Association (SCOGA).

For spectators outside Singapore who cannot watch this tournament live, Infinitus as the Official Event App will broadcast the tournament live.

Meanwhile, Toggleand eGG as Official Broadcasters will broadcast it on their respective platforms.
