Reporting from ComicBook, Yasuo Imanaka revealed that the PlayStation 5 will not be released until 2021, specifically April 2021 to March 2022.
It is estimated by Yasuo that the PlayStation 5 will be released around the end of 2022, but this is still too early to release.
When viewed from the release of the PlayStation 3 which was released in 2006 and the PlayStation 4 which was released in 2013, the difference of 7 years is quite enough.
It is likely that the PlayStation 5 will be a year or two longer than the previous series.

While Xbox is still looking to start fresh, and the massive success of the PlayStation 4 may not get Sony excited for a new one.
