Game made by UMM student group entitled Fight the Virus
GridGames.ID – In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic which made everything difficult and limited, student groups from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) continued to produce creative and innovative works.
The pandemic condition does not prevent students from continuing to work and even making education through video games.
The game created by Luthfi Ramadhani, Indah Ardhia Cahyani, Event Rifqi Pratiw, Ilham Ardiansyah, and Rosi Andreyna carries the title “Fight the Virus”.

The game presents a character named the Tapak Suci warrior as a representative of Muhammadiyah.
Rosi Anreyna, as one of the developers of this game said that this game was made because they wanted to take part in the competition.
Because the theme of the competition event was a pandemic and must include elements of Muhammadiyah, they chose Tapak Suci.

In this game, the players must pass through the maze obstacles and defeat the Corona Virus.
Game points will continue to increase if the characters in this game find masks and hand sanitizers in the maze.
Like casual games in general, Fight the Virus also has a level system, where each level up, the enemies present will be increasingly difficult to defeat.
“This game basically has to fight the Corona Virus and the Tapak Suci warriors have to fight the virus with masks and hand sanitizers obtained from the labrin,” said Rosi.
