This is not just a rumor, as one of the streamers on the Facebook platform was killed.

Cowsep, a LoL Wild Rift streamer from South Korea, has uploaded a photo of his permanently banned LoL WR account.

In the photo, Cowsep received a notice from LoL WR that his account was permanently banned.

“This account is permanently blocked by the use of prohibited third-party software and will not be able to access Wild Rift.”

“This kind of action damages our community and the competitiveness of the game. This action is undone.”

Throughout the game, Cowep doesn’t seem to use cheats, but instead uses an emulator to run LoL Wild Rift.

The emulator is a third-party application, and Riot Games doesn’t seem to tolerate any third-party.

Riot wants to encourage players to play LoL Wild Rift on mobile recording devices. If you want to play LoL on your PC, Riot has a PC version of the game over 10 years old.

Future emulator implementation

It’s not yet clear if Riot will relax the rules for Wild Rift players in the emulator.
