Fixed VALORANT 1.12 patch notes, 1.11 issue!
After the release of the problematic patch 1.11, Riot will release a small patch for the latest update. Some in-game bugs have avoided loopholes and have been completely re-released.
Developers are forced to “re-evaluate” what they need to “raise quality standards” in the coming days. They didn’t miss patch 1.12, but added a “light touch”.
Observer and social panel updates, as well as numerous bug fixes, are the focus of patch 1.12.
The complete list of VALORANT patch 1.12 updates is as follows:
Competitive mode updates
- The Act rank badge will be disabled in-game while the developer is investigating potential issues that could lead to poor in-game performance.
- The Actrunk badge will continue to appear in the competitive lobby, map loading, and end-of-game screens.
Game system update
Observer / Observer
- Observers will not hear the ping sound
- Improved visibility in bright places
- Added game status change tricks to allow moderators to adjust various aspects of the game (player stats, money, etc.) in tournament settings.
- Fixed team color change recall from patch 1.11.
- This caused confusion as people began to recognize red as an attacker and green as a defense.
- There is a bug that causes certain UI elements to appear in the wrong color
- Riot plans to bring this feature back in the future once we have added support for custom team colors.

Social update
- Riot has redesigned the group’s open / close switch to make it easier to understand if a player belongs to an open / closed group.
- Observers are now displayed as “in-game” in the social panel
- Observers can now view and enter chats /all In-game custom
Game performance
- Added new user interface to custom game watchers while selecting characters
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused an error when quitting / disconnecting a custom game VAL-51, The player had to recreate the game to rejoin.
- Fixed a bug on the end of game screen after the heaven map and incorrect time markers were displayed after an icebox match
- Fixed an issue where players could target weapons flying (dropped) in the sky with certain abilities
- Left-handed mode: Fixed falsely reflected recoil animation (doesn’t match actual weapon recoil)
- Fixed an issue where the observer UI would overlap when deploying / tame players
- Fixed inconsistent team colors in minimap pings
- Fixed a rare issue where the viewer’s camera transition visuals would get stuck when switching player views
