GridGames.id – The Maltese Football Association (MFA) announces partnership with EA Sports.

The two agreed to hold the Malta BOV ePremier League competition.

Interestingly, the tournament will be included in the EA Sports FIFA 20 Global Series calendar.

Not only included in the EA Sports FIFA 20 Global Series calendar, the BOV ePremier League is also a qualifying stage.

FIFA players are allowed to play on behalf of one of the 14 BOV Premier League teams under undisclosed rules.

The BOV ePremiere League Malta is scheduled to be held in November 2021.

This collaboration was welcomed by the VP of the Matla Football Association, he was proud that a popular esports partnership with the MFA.

He hopes that this collaboration will further advance Malta’s esports and football industry.

Sam Turkbas, FIFA official from EA Sports revealed that EA Sports cooperated because he saw the great potential of the tournament in Malta.

With this partnership, there are already more than 20 leagues under the FIFA 20 Global Series.

Players from each league will compete against each other to collect the highest points and become champions.

EA Sports makes the esports league competition also a qualifying stage.

Every player who earns EA Sports FIFA 20 Global Series points will be entitled to advance to the next stage.

The official rules regarding the Malta ePremier League will be determined in the next few days, as the tournament will begin in November 2021.
