It goes without saying that the events in the Celtics locker room quickly flooded the internet. All screams motivated the Celtics to look in the mirror and return to their normal shape.

That was evidenced by their solid victory in Round 3 and their return to the series, competing for the NBA Finals.

Now that things have cooled down a bit, Marcus Smart reveals what really happened that night, claiming they were a family and the whole family was fighting.

“Yes, you know we just got together and made sure we were on the same page. We talk to each other that we love each other.

“That’s me, Jaylen, Jason [Tatum], Kemba [Walker], And Brad Stevens. As you know, we just got together to see what was happening in the locker room at the time.

“As I said, we are a family. Family quarrels. I didn’t expect anything more,” Smart told Sam Amic. Athletic..

Smart adds that players prefer to look at each other’s faces and get out of the system rather than doing nothing.

“If a player feels something, say so. I want them to say it rather than hold it and put it out too late.

“As I said, it’s exciting for us to have him. It’s probably something we had a long time ago, but if you’re just playing, you don’t have to.

“And we knew that in the end we would return our way to normal. As I said before, I love the players in this group. We are all I love each other.

“Everyone knows that when one of us becomes emotional, there is no malice or malice behind it.

“I think it’s one of the ways we all can get higher (yield) because we all know that it’s coming from a good place,” Smart said.

After all, this Celtic steam looks pretty close. That’s one of the things that keeps them there, and fighting in the locker room doesn’t change that.
