Mobile Legends teams that pass will compete and risk their prestige as the best team in their respective countries.

Of the 16 teams, there will only be 8 teams that will qualify for the M1 World Championship Playoffs and the hope of winning is still embedded in the shoulders of the Indonesian representatives, namely EVOS Legends and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ).

The gaming objectives of EVOS from the Regular Season to the Grand Finals of MPL ID Season 4 produced results that made them the first winners of the event.

Likewise with RRQ who often showed impressive play and perfect timing when dealing with their opponents in MPL ID Season 4 yesterday.

The potential for big surprises is very possible in the M1 World Championship considering that the opposing teams are the champions from their respective countries and the opportunity to become champions is certainly open.

Florian “Wolfy” George, MPL ID Season 4 Shoutcaster, gave his views on the opportunities for Indonesian Mobile Legends teams in the world arena regarding the strategies and capabilities of EVOS and RRQ.

“I think from the performance of the Indonesian teams in the Playoffs yesterday, it can be seen that there is an enormous improvement, the level of play has clearly increased rapidly this season. From my predictions, Indonesia is arguably the strongest in the world, the toughest rivals will come from the Philippine teams,” said Wolfy.

The Philippines does have a lot of esports talent, as in the 2021 SEA Games trial, the Indonesian team itself was defeated by the Philippine contingent in the final round and had to settle for a silver medal.

Likewise, at MSC 2021 which was held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia successfully presented the All-Philippines Finals between Aether Main, which is now Bren Esports, and Digital Devils.

Wolfy also pointed to several individuals who deserve to be witnessed by representatives of Indonesia.

“For EVOS, in my personal opinion, all the players have the ability to shine; but the spearhead of EVOS in my opinion is Donkey and Rekt. Their ability to make-play is huge and should be watched out for by other teams. From RRQ, I think the spearhead is R7, whose positioning is really top class, his ability to get flanking moments can really change the flow of the game. Lemon and Xin’s switch-lane abilities are also something to watch out for,” he said.

Donkey’s stunning initiation, Rekt who was able to maximize opportunities, Xin who was able to see gaps and perfect team composition in all lines, both in the EVOS and RRQ roster.

“I think both Indonesian teams should be able to qualify from the group stage if their game is the same or even better than yesterday’s MPL Playoffs. With the ability of the players and the drafting coaching of each team (EVOS and RRQ), their level, in my opinion, is at least up to the semifinals. From the semifinals, it can be said that they will meet 2 teams of the same level from other regions,” said Wolfy about the predictions for Indonesia’s representative in the upcoming M1 World Championship.
