Nick Young wants to play for another season in the NBA before he retires

After seeing him play in the NBA for the first time in a while, free agent Nick Young has surprisingly re-appeared. A shooting guard player tweeted that Nick Young wants to play in the NBA for the last season before he retires.

A young, or often called Swaggie, feels he can still compete for another year, even if he hasn’t played in a competitive game for a long time, and he contributes to the team that gives him the opportunity to play. I’m sure I can do it.

“NBA, I just want to play another season,” Young tweeted.

Swaggie himself is reportedly absent from the NBA basketball world for about a year. Last time, he joined the Denver Nuggets team in the 2018-2019 season. During his Nuggets career, Young played only four games, averaging 2.3 points in 9.3 minutes per game.

The 34-year-old guard player was also part of the 2017-18 Golden State Warriors team. Former USC star scored an average of 7.3 points in Dubs during the 2017-18 regular season, shooting 37.7% over the arc.

Young joined the NBA at the Washington Wizards in 2007. In addition to the Nuggets, Warriors and Wizards, he also played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. Young has averaged 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in his NBA career in 720 regular season games.

But you might also see Nick Young play in the NBA in 2020-21. However, no one knows when the 2020-21 season will start, as the 2019-20 season still needs to be fully completed or canceled.

If he can prove to the team that he can still count on, Young should be able to at least do some practice with the team. Shooting ability and one-on-one scoring ability are available to teams with minimal playoff slots.
