GridGames.ID – Some time ago IESPL together with the Creative Economy Agency, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Presidential Staff Office, the Ministry of Communication and Information collaborated to hold the 2021 eSports Presidential Cup.
The selection round of this tournament was held in 8 cities in Indonesia, namely Palembang, Denpasar, Makassar, Surabaya, Manado, Solo, Pontianak and Bekasi.
The 2021 eSports Presidential Cup was held with the aim of creating and accommodating the growing eSport ecosystem so that the Indonesian eSports world could be better prepared to compete at the world level.

The regional area itself consists of:
- Palembang : The whole island of Sumatra
- Denpasar : Bali Island, NTT, NTB
- Makassar : West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi
- Surabaya : East Java, Madura
- Manado : Central Sulawesi, Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, All Maluku Islands and Papua Island
- Solo : Central Java and DI Yogyakarta
- Bekasi : West Java, DKI Jakarta, Banten
- Pontianak : The whole island of Borneo
